以前から検討していたエストニアの電子居住権 (E-Residency)。

承認された後に受け取るキットをタイでは受け取ることができないので、隣国で受領可能な国へ行かなければならず、コロナで簡単に渡航できないから当分は無理だなぁ～とあきらめていたら、タイでも受領可能になりました。

そこで前回までに

今回はそこまで読んで、更に興味があるという方向けに、実際のオンライン申請の詳細をまとめておきます。

e-Residency もここから申請します。

日本語対応はありませんが、自動翻訳を使えば英語が得意でないという方でもなんとかなると思います。

まずはアカウントの登録。申請後はここで登録したメールアドレスに連絡がきたり、サイトのアカウントにアクセスして申請を確認したりするのにもこのメールアドレスを使います。

アカウント作成後は、画面の指示に従って各項目に記入していくだけです。

次に各項目の詳細を…。
手元にある pdf で保存しておいた自分の申請時の詳細を元に書くので、多少不正確なところがあるかもしれませんが、ご了承ください。

選択肢から選ぶ項目は、何を選ぶかによって追加の情報が必要になるものもあります。

どちらも Yes / No の選択。たいていの人はどちらも No だと思います。

選択肢から選ぶ項目。全ての選択肢を書き留めておくのを忘れましたが、主な選択肢は『会社の設立をしたいから』か、『現時点で明確な目的はない』かのどちらかです。

『会社の設立』というのを選ぶと、追加で入力しなければならない情報量が増えるので、とりあえず

というのを選択しました。

会社設立の手続は、どちらにしても e-Residency の申請が承認されてからでないとできないですし（e-Residency の申請画面で同時に会社の設立手続きをするわけではないという意味です）、まあ申請が通ってから改めて考えればいいかと…。
ここで会社の設立を理由に選ばないと、後で会社の設立ができないというわけではないので。

ここは英文で記入が必要。確かここは文字数の規定がなかったので、短めに興味があるからというようなことをまとめました。

最初につまづいたのはここです。
ここも英文で記入が必要な項目ですが、前の項目と同様に適当に書いておけばいいかと思ったら、最低1000文字以上という制限があり、ちょっと苦労しました。

そんなに書くことが思いつかない時、1000文字って結構長いんですよね。

とりあえず、正直言ってどう貢献できるかは分かりませんが、SNSやブログを通じてエストニアについて発信していこうとは思ってます…みたいなことを無理やり1000文字強に膨らませて書きました。

個人的には、実際に書く内容が重要なんではなく、業者などが代行して、コピペで申請する人が横行しないようにするための対策じゃないかな～と思ってます。

次につまずいたのはこれです。
いわゆる IDフォトですが、手元にあるのをスキャンすればいいかとおもったら、最低サイズが 1300x1600 pixel 以上と規定されていて、パスポート用写真をスキャンして拡大するとちょっと画面が荒いかな…と。

探すと、そのパスポート写真を撮った時に CD に焼いてくれたのがあったので、そのソフトコピーを確認。こちらは余裕で 1300x1600 pixel より大きかったので、無事撮りなおすことなくアップロードできました。

次につまずいたのはここです。
もう何年も転職活動をしていないので、今使っている PC から過去の CV を探すのが大変でした。

通常使っているフォルダーにはなかったので、過去のバックアップ用の外付け HDD を探しまくって、ようやく2013年版をみつけ、これにその後のちょっとを付け加えて更新。PDFファイルにしてアップロードします。

手元にアップロードできるような CV がなければ、オンラインの画面上で詳細を記入して送信することもできるようでした。

隠すつもりはなかったのですが、面倒なので実際に持ってる口座の3分の1くらいしか書きませんでした。

オンライン申請書の記入はここまでです。

銀行口座のことなどは、一瞬記入をためらいましたが、口座番号等の詳細は求められなかったので、大雑把に記入しました。

e-Residency を取得しても簡単にエストニアの銀行に口座を開けない理由が、マネーロンダリング問題のせいらしいので、この辺は少しだけ確認させてね…っていう気持ちもわからなくはないので。

申請料はEUR100で、私はWise（旧TransferWise）のVirtual Cardで支払い。
最近オンラインでクレジットカード払いの時は、もっぱらこの Wise の Virtual Card を使っています。

申請後は、<a href='https://e-resident.gov.ee/' target='_self'>エストニア政府の e-Residency の公式サイト</a> からもステイタスが確認できますが、Approve されるとEメールが??ます。

申請後はメールのチェックをお忘れなく。

ちなみに私は8月13日に申請をして、申請が通りましたよというメールが来たのは8月20日でした。

長くなりましたので、実際にキットを受け取って Digital ID を使ってみる話は次回に。
